Consent to use your writing.

Consent. It is the policy of Alexander Odendahl, LLC (the “Company”) to obtain the permission of a client to use samples of the client’s (“You” or “Your”) written work in the Company’s videos and other teaching and promotional materials. You will not be compensated for the use of your work in this manner, but you will be credited. Please contact the Company at the email address listed below with a copy of how you would like to be credited.

Details. The Company may use the written work in its videos and other educational and promotional materials. This includes, but is not limited to, use on the Company’s YouTube or other online video channel, or any other use the Company may employ, or in other classes or one-on-one sessions taught by the Company. Use of the written work and the manner in which it is used is up to the sole discretion of the Company.

Withdrawal of Consent. You may withdraw your consent to the Company using your written work for these activities at any time by sending an email to contact.alexanderodendahl@gmail.com. Please allow a reasonable time for the writing to be pulled from materials as some materials may be unable to be edited prior to publication based on the policies of the specific media outlet. The Company will make reasonable efforts to pull such materials and will cease the use of the written work in materials from the date you send your withdrawal.

Release of Liability. You release the Company from any claims and expenses arising out of or in any way related to the Company’s use of your written work, including, without limitation, any consequential or special damages or lost profits.

Indemnification. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company against all claims arising out of or in any way related to the Company’s use of your written work in its educational materials, including without limitation, any claims for copyright or other intellectual property infringement.
